Rating by category:
The hotel is in a very convenient position to both the beach and the center of Denia. We enjoyed the buffet style meals and the food was on the whole very good.
The food was excellent. Hotel satff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great sea view of the room. Very good value of money.
Very good value for money. The staff, from receptionists to maids, where always friendly, helpful and smiling. Buffet meals but not the same every day, good value and tasty.
Its busy, some public areas have piped music. There is "live"music in the bar in the evening, can be noisy. The music etc can be heard in first floor rooms until around 11.00pm.
Too many elderly patrons
We booked half board and found the food excellent, good secure car park really enjoyed the stay wish it had been longer
The excellent service and very friendly staff made our holiday a very pleasant experience.
The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of foam matting in child play area.
Walks around the harbour, many lovely bars and restaurants, resorts all within easy reach by car
Although our room was on the side of the hotel that did not overlook the pool or have a balcony, it was more spacious than those other rooms, and the beds were bigger and very confortable. The staff were all excellent and were friendly and helpful.
We stayed in January and although the outdoor pool area was very nice it was too cold to swim. So we hoped to use the indoor pool, but this is really quite small, and not very good for actual swimming in, and the exercise facilities were very limited.
The cleanliness! Reception staff were great especially Anna marie but the bar and restaurant staff were not friendly and they couldn't speak much English.
The bar and restaurant staff
The location is good. Very big, it is like staying in an airport. Good restaurant.
Evening Dinners. Service was veryt good. Staff were very polite and helpfull.
Breakfast could have been better. Wireless Internet was pretty useless especially in our room.
Rooms in good condition
99% old people. The breakfast would make an earthworm throw up.
Indoor & outdoor pools, great selection of buffet food, friendly staff.
Pillows uncomfortable, entertainment not very varied.
Large spacious ensuite bathrooms, very good showers.
Hotel reception was unable to find our booking of 2 rooms. Left us standing 25 mins in the lobby with no communication as the receptionist spoke on the phone. Finally gave us a room. He demanded full payment for the 7 nights in advance. We offered to pay half in cash until we got to a bank he following morning. He declined any deposit in advance. The evening meal and breakfast buffet looked very good on display, but most of the food was tasteless and undercooked. The bar closed at 11.50pm eventhough it is advertised to stay open until 1am.and no staff was available to serve us drinks in the lobby. We checked out the next morning..
Location, port and marina activity, beach.
This is a hotel geared towards the Saga Company, and this sometimes causes the independant traveller annoyance, forever being asked by the staff, were we Saga all inclusive. All facilities were aimed towards the Saga traveller.
